After being collected from your accommodation, relax and enjoy a 40-minute scenic drive from Hobart to Kettering before arriving at the ferry to Bruny Island.
As the ferry makes its way across the beautiful water of the D’Entrecasteaux Channel to the island you can take in the experience out on deck – you may be lucky enough to sight the occasional dolphin or seal!
Absorb the spectacular views across the ocean and of picturesque sea cliffs and beautifully preserved nature as you are driven to the southern point of the island to South Bruny National Park. The islands coastline is surrounded by world class beaches, with pristine white sand.
The lookout at the ‘The Neck’ is where you’ll see stunning 360-degree views of the island and beyond. This is an isthmus that connects the north and south ends of the island. Fairy penguin dens are in the surrounding sand dunes – they journey there at dusk to nest for the night.

Indulge in your choice of the best and freshest produce of either, a delicious seafood or winery lunch experience. This is perfectly topped off with more of the islands exquisite produce from talented producers with chocolate and honey tastings.
