A wonderful way to see what Tasmania has to offer!
I booked a tour for my partner and I as a surprise for his birthday, and it went even better than expected! We had an amazing time with John as our guide. He was prompt, polite, so friendly, and very knowledgeable. Communication before the day was great. John was able to tell us a lot about the different wineries we visited, and we had great conversation the whole day. By the end of our tour we felt like old friends! We were so happy with the service he provided that we will be booking with him again when family visit next year. A great way to learn more about Tasmania and all it has to offer! Queening Around Bruny Island 👑🥂🚙
👑 What an absolutely stunning day queening around Bruny Island with John! My friend Sarah and I did the Bruny Island tour and honestly couldn't recommend it enough. John was an absolute gentleman, incredibly knowledgeable about the area and just genuinely lovely to spend the day chatting with. And can we talk about the classic Mercedes?! 😍 What a way to see Bruny! John opened the doors for us everywhere we went, so apparently chivalry is NOT dead when John is around 😂👑 We genuinely felt like queens for the day. The tour was such a beautiful mix of everything Bruny does so well: amazing local food and wine 🍷🧀, gorgeous scenery and some stunning nature stops, including The Neck. We loved every place John took us and never felt rushed. The sun even came out and the infamous Tassie wind behaved itself for us ☀️😂, so it really was a spectacular day all round. One of the things we loved most was having a private tour rather than being part of a big group. It made the whole experience feel relaxed, personal and really special. A Personalised Tasmanian Tour with a Passionate Local Guide
We had a wonderful private tour with David. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and tailored the day perfectly to suit us. Adding an extra stop at the lavender farm or chocolate factory was no trouble at all. David’s genuine passion for Tasmanian history was a real highlight and made the tour even more enjoyable. An unforgettable way to experience Tasmania
Our day with Tasmanian Private Tours was absolutely incredible and easily one of the best parts of our visit to Tasmania. We travelled with two young children, and John made the experience comfortable, relaxed, and enjoyable for the entire family. Everything was thoughtfully planned, and we were taken to spectacular places that we never would have found or experienced by ourselves. John’s knowledge of Tasmania, attention to detail, and flexibility made the tour feel personal rather than rushed or overly structured. He was wonderful with our children and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the day. John is also an exceptionally safe and skilled driver. We could simply relax, enjoy the scenery, and take in everything Tasmania has to offer while he handled all the planning, driving, parking, and timing. Tasmania is an amazing place, but experiencing it with Tasmanian Private Tours made it even more special. Anyone visiting Tasmania should book a tour with this company. The service, local knowledge, and overall experience were outstanding. Great day from beginning to end.
We recently had two full days in Hobart and decided to book Tasmanian Private Tours for a day exploring the Derwent Valley. John was prompt in replying to our initial request and very accommodating with changes we proposed to the itinerary. We had fabulous experiences at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, the historic Salmon Ponds near New Norfolk and Russell Falls before returning to Hobart. The whole day was timed beautifully to give us plenty of time at each location and we enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Salmon Ponds. We felt we were in careful and experiences hands all day. Exceptional private tour
We did two days of tours with John. The Port Arthur and curated Coal Valley Wine tour. Both days had fantastic itineraries which were at a good pace for our family. John’s knowledge of Hobart and the surrounds made for great conversation on the very comfortable drive. This was well priced for a truly private tour.
