Cole River Farm restaurant offers modern Australian cuisine with our own farm twist. We aren’t sure whether that fits into a category or not but it is the only way we can think of describing it. We take the best seasonal produce from the local Coal River Valley and our very talented chefs turn out some modern takes on classic dishes. Our philosophy is centered around using our own produce wherever we can. Our pigs are a regular feature on our menu. They are raised in a peaceful free range environment right here and fed with a diet of whey from the cheesemaking process, fresh scraps and pellets (they love visitors if you are up for a short stroll). All other items on the menu are made fresh on site including the bread, baked daily, Everything from the condiments and pickles in our dishes to the smoking of our fish and other meats is done right here.
